Parquet flooring - Parquet floors consists of wood that is cut in geometrical patterns which are all the way very different from typical wooden flooring. Multiple wood slats are placed and fixed on the floor using long lasting adhesives.

Plank flooring It comes in small planks which are then fixed on the floor, this comes in only two thicknesses - 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch and the widths can vary from 3 to 8 inches.

There is a unique variety of hardwood floors which makes it very difficult to choose one from them. One may choose the color and shape of the wooden flooring as per the color and texture of the walls to make it best suitable at your place. Sometimes, it is possibly better to match the flooring with the furniture.
